Sakura initially started as a crayon company in 1921. Art materials led to development of a specialized ink technology, Pigma ink, which is used in the the famous Micron graphic pens. Where the pigment particles are reduced to sub micron size, to allow the ink to flow evenly though the narrowest of pen nibs. Popular with all artists, the Gelly Roll glue pen and White pen are considered a staple in every artists tool box.
