Our Felting needles are chosen from out favourite UK suppliers. With felting needles it can often be confusing which needles to choose. We recommend if starting out, to purchase Nº 36 Triangle for sculpting, plus a Nº 38 or Nº 40 Triangle, Twisted or Star for finer details. The higher the number, the finer the felting.

Triangular needles have downward facing barbs along each their 3 edges

Twisted Needles have with a spiral twist, which provide quick firm felting

Star needles have 4 edges in a star configuration, used for quick felting and sculpting. 

The crown needle only has the barbs at the point, these are used for catching fine fibres.
